Beetham Tower: New Noise Complaints

Lib Dem City Centre Councillors have received more complaints in recent weeks from city centre residents about noise in high winds from the Beetham Tower.

Cllr Marc Ramsbottom said, "We have in the past few weeks received more complaints from local residents about noise from Beetham Tower. We have passed these complaints on to Environmental Health and asked them to investigate".

Complaints were last received about 12 months at the time the tower was completed. At that time Council officials intervened and modifications were made to reduce wind noise.
