Grace Baynham - the Liberal Democrat Candidate for the Hulme by election on the 4th November.

The by election in Hulme ward on the 4th November is set to be between former Trinity High School pupil Grace Baynham and Labour.

The election, caused by the arrest of Labour's Emily Lomax is embroiled in controversy after environmental campaigners accused Labour of deliberately misrepresenting their views on a local website.

Now, the watchdog responsible for Councillor's behaviour are investigating Labour's conduct in this election. The Hulme Labour Councillors responsible could be thrown off the Council as a result.

Grace Baynham said, "Labour know that the Liberal Democrats are catching them up. In a desperate and grubby attempt to court favour, they have deliberately misled people. It is difficult to believe a word they say. Their leaflets are fiction - they are hoping that no-one will notice that their Gorton-based candidate has stood twice and lost in Chorlton and Whalley Range, Labour in Gorton have ignored her - if she is not good enough for Gorton - she is not good enough for Hulme!"
