Trust in politicians is at an all time low. Many MP's are standing down at the next election, so its up to many new people to start to rebuild confidence in our political system and in our elected representatives. This can't be done over night, but it does require those who are elected, to act with honest and integrity. That's why I have made these pledges below if I am fortunate enough to be elected to serve the people of Manchester Central after the next election:
6. I will be open and honest about the expenses incurred in representing you.
7. I will have an office open to constituents and hold weekly advice surgeries in the constituency.
8. I will will only promise what I know I can deliver.
9. I will never claim for food, a second mortgage, furniture or household goods.
10. I will tell you my real views, even if you may not agree with them.
